Position: FACILITIES MANAGER
Job Description: • Overall Facilities Management of the building(s) that he/she assigned to include soft FM Services such as Pest Control, Landscape, Cleaning and Security. • Required to plan, formulate, manage and oversee the fitting-out, operations, maintenance and upkeep of buildings and land area. • Supervise and manage contractors in fulfilling their contractual obligation and ensure smooth operation of the buildings. • Attend to feedback by tenants/ clients, to recommend and take remedial actions in a timely manner • Manage Main Contractor and liaise with the appointed Construction Project Team for the clearance of the defects and to compile and track all Main Contractor maintenance programs and FMC’s own sub-contractor maintenance program by using the appropriate software and spreadsheets. • Manage emergency and ad-hoc repairs, breakdowns and trouble-shooting. • Provide technical support and attendance where necessary and act as an Authorised Person. • Manage and act as the co-ordination point between the Main Contractor and the Construction Project Team. • Consolidate and provide technical reports or findings to the appointed Construction Project Team and SO. • Oversee the management of the Permit to Work systems. • Oversee the health and safety management. • Ensure proper submission of all risk assessment reports by all sub-contractors, including those appointed by the Corporation, before the works are executed, proper filing of the reports and implement inspection and spot checks to ensure compliance to risk assessment by the sub-contractors. • Works management such as preparing monthly progress reports, certification of work completed to the required standard, issue and control of variation orders, etc. • Manage customer service related issues, ensure proper response and action items with customers (any tenants or members of public) are closed in a timely and professional manner. • Responsible for the office management functions, office support services and administrative support. • Prepare regular status reports in an acceptable format to the SO. • Any other ad-hoc assignments assigned by the Management.
Job Qualification: Degree in Building, Engineering or Facilities disciplines from a recognised tertiary establishment with at least 5 years of relevant working experience. Posses WSHO/FSM or other relevant certificates. Singaporean/PR/Foreigner
